The module encourages critical thinking around the strengths and limitations of personality theory and assessment.
    Social Psychology
Explore how individuals think, feel and behave in social contexts, including how attitudes form, why people conform and how group dynamics influence behaviour. The module introduces major social psychological theories and empirical studies. You’ll also apply concepts to real-world issues such as prejudice, persuasion and social influence.
    Brain and Behaviour
You’ll explore how the brain and nervous system shape behaviour, from neuronal communication to how different brain regions support cognition and emotion. You’ll investigate how biology, genetics, and the environment influence everything from sleep to complex behaviours, while engaging with current debates and ethical issues to build a critical understanding of human behaviour.
    Developmental Psychology
This module examines how humans develop across the lifespan, from infancy to older adulthood. You’ll study theories of cognitive, social and emotional development and evaluate research investigating key developmental milestones.
